Bloggers, dear readers, it’s been more than eight years my company had been implementing Quality Management System ISO 9001 (QMS ISO 9001).

Started with QMS ISO 9001:2000, my company then upgraded its QMS to QMS ISO 9001:2008 (Actually the term “upgrade” is not quite match as there’s no “real” upgrade to the system.

So far, so good especially when global economic condition was stable. But, when economic condition is then getting change, worse, it can be seen that the effectiveness of such a QMS implementation should be reviewed for its continuing suitability.

Jucelino Nobrega da Luz Premonitions and the Doomsday

When there’s a disaster happened like the powerful earthquake recently took place at West Sumatra-Indonesia, donating our outwear clothes to disaster victims is a dignify action. We know that. But, do you know that donating our unwanted clothes can help saving our environment, too? If you don’t know yet let me tell you the reasons.

Clothing can be harmful to the environment in several ways:

- Cotton Clothes. When pesticides are used in cotton production, the pesticides cause pollution and thus endanger the environment.
- Many processes involved in clothing production, such as irrigation, pesticides, fertilizers, and bleaching and dyeing of processed textiles use an enormous amount of water and often lead to water pollution.
- Synthetic fibers based Clothes. Fossil fuels are used in the production of oil-based synthetic fibers (like nylon). While clothes are being transported and processed, they release carbon emissions that contribute to climate change.
- Wool. When clothes are thrown away than donated or recycled, they end up in landfill. When in landfill, wool releases methane during its decaying process, contributing in climate change as well.

For these reasons stated above, donating our outwear clothes is a good, dignify action. Not only good to those in need, but good to our environment as well, since this action can reduce the usage of pesticides, water, fossil fuels, as well as methane.

For many men, the image of self is inevitably linked to a perception of masculinity which in turn involves functioning and performing well sexually. When problems do occur in the form of an inability to achieve or sustain an erection the term erectile dysfunction (impotence) is applied.

Things can go wrong at any point of the 3 stages of producing and maintaining an erection:
First Stage: Sexual arousal, getting sexually stimulated from our thoughts and senses.
Second Stage Erection: The brain communicates the sexual arousal to the body which increases the blood flow to the penis.
Third Stage Erection: Blood vessels that supply the penis relax allowing an increased blood supply to flow into the shafts that produce the erection.

If anything affects any of these stages or the delicate balance between them, erectile dysfunction ensues. The good news is that nonphysical causes of erectile dysfunction are the root cause in only 10% to 20% of cases. In such circumstances, a patient is said to have psychogenic erectile dysfunction.

The most common psychological problems can generally be related to: inhibited sexual desire, anxiety disorders, depression, mental fatigue, stress, guilt, relationship problems, and lack of interest in sex by partner etc. Often, the fundamental problem is anxiety or depression. One study found that erectile dysfunction is nearly twice as common among depressed men as it is among those who aren't depressed. Keep in mind, though, that nonphysical causes of erectile dysfunction play a contributing role in most cases, no matter what the cause. Even if the cause is purely physical or medical, erectile difficulty is almost certain to have an emotional and psychological impact. These emotional consequences can lead to the kind of performance anxiety that triggers more severe erectile dysfunction. When this happens, a man may begin to avoid his partner or make excuses for not having sex - actions that can perpetuate anxiety or depression. At this stage, the role of the psychological difficulties may in fact overshadow the original medical or physical cause. To cure the problem, you'll need to address both the physical problem and the psychological one.

A very special type of erectile dysfunction is what’s called as excessive masturbation impotence. Masturbation itself does not cause impotence. When your body has had enough, it will just refuse to respond, but this is very far from impotence. About the only 'side effect' is that if the penis is rubbed for hours and hours, it can temporarily become puffy with fluid in the tissues. It is possible, however, that a man can achieve an erection and masturbate successfully and not be able to achieve an erection which would enable him to have a satisfactory sexual intercourse. In the past, it was believed to be a case of excessive masturbation impotence.

It is a fact that masturbation causes less tension for men than sexual intercourse does, so it may well be that a man gets anxious when he is preparing to have sex with a partner. Another issue is our own education. Feeling guilty about how often you masturbate could be the real issue for the onset of an erectile dysfunction. If you are experiencing negative emotions/thoughts related to the frequency of masturbation, masturbating less often may solve the problem.

Around 400 people have disappeared and are feared dead as the major earthquake that jolted West Sumatra on Wednesday sank Aia hamlet in Padang Pariaman regency. Head of the crisis center at the Ministry of Health, Rustam Pakaya, said a rescue team had managed to unearth 26 bodies.

“Let the rest go. Excavating the area will only spark diseases,” Rustam said was quoted by kompas.com. “The hamlet is completely flattened.” He said most of the victims were attending a wedding party when the powerful quake struck.

Quoting a search worker, Rustam said a mosque which stood 30 meters high in the hamlet had disappeared. The quake also caused two other hamlets, Cumanak and Lubuk Laweh, to submerge, killing nearly 200 people altogether.

West Sumatra needs 10,000 tents for quake victim.

Survivors of the major earthquake that rattled West Sumatra on Wednesday need at least 10,000 tents as the disaster has flattened many houses in the province, an official says. Deputy Governor Marlis Rahman said Saturday the local government had received humanitarian assistance from many parties, but only a few of them sent in tents.

“We are in dire need of tents, especially small ones that suit a family,” Marlis said as quoted by Antara. Data from the provincial disaster management agency reveals that over 21,700 houses were severely damaged by the quake. The displaced people have been seeking shelters at tents and tarpaulins erected outside their devastated houses or in squares near their residential areas.

GF : “Do you seriously want to marry me, dear?”
MF : “Sure.”

MF : “Ww..what….??!!”

MF : “Sure! He was feeling insecure since he was jealous.”
